Experience climbing through and along a warm mountain stream in Shiretoko
Kamuiwakka has become accessible to visitors with the introduction of a new system in 2023. Access is now possible to the fourth waterfall, which was off-limits for about 18 years.<br>This safety-focused tour takes you through Kamuiwakka, one of the remotest parts of the UNESCO World Natural Heritage Site Shiretoko. Since 2025, the tour operator has been operating the tour as the “World Natural Heritage Site Full-Day of Fun Tour,” combining trekking amid superb forest scenery in the morning and Kamuiwakka "shower climbing" in the afternoon.
