Explore Unzen-Amakusa National Park’s hot springs, volcanoes and wildlife
Begin the day with a visit to the Unzen Visitor Center to learn all about the Unzen volcanic group. From there, you will head to Nita Pass by car and start your walk with a guide to Mount Fugen. Explore volcanoes—including Mount Heisei-Shinzan—and other geological features along the way. Your guide will point out and identify plants and animals during the hike. The tour concludes after returning to Nita Pass from Mount Fugen. You'll head back to Unzen Onsengai Hot Spring District by car.
