Discover the beauty of Ginzan Hot Spring

Discover the beauty of Ginzan Hot Spring in Yamagata, where a snowy wonderland awaits in winter. This charming town offers public hot springs and foot baths, surrounded by traditional buildings that take you back in time. In summer, stroll the streets in a yukata for a taste of Japanese culture, and admire the beautiful snowy streets lit by warm streetlights in winter. Treat yourself to gourmet delights like Ohanazawa beef, a finely marbled brand of wagyu beef and Ohanazawa Soba noodle made with locally grown buckwheat flour.

JR Yamagata Shinkansen takes you there from Tokyo. The train journey will be about 3 hours and 20 minutes.
You can catch a bus that runs every 2 hours from Oishida Station to Ginzan Onsen.
