The Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare(MHLW) multilingual hotline is staffed from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. (Japan Time) daily. Information is available in English, Korean, Chinese, Portuguese, Spanish, Thai and Vietnamese.

Information on Medical Institutions in Japan
Check the “Guide for when you are feeling ill” website operated by Japan Tourism Agency, which is an online guide to medical care in Japan for visitors. It includes a search function for medical institutions, information on how to visit a medical institution and answers to other questions you may have. The guide is available in English, Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
Telephone medical consultation and interpreter services
The Association of Medical Doctors of Asia Medical Information Center (AMDA) offers telephone medical consultations in English, Chinese, Korean, Tagalog, Thai, Spanish, Vietnamese and Portuguese. The AMDA also offers telephone interpreter services.
