Awaichi

This picturesque cycling route is a 150-kilometer circuit around the coast of Awaji Island. With a nice balance of hills and flat stretches, the course is suitable for all cyclists, and can be completed as a long-distance journey, or in more compact sections. In addition to gorgeous coastal scenery, cyclists can witness the awesome power of nature by viewing the whirlpools in the Naruto Strait (either from a ferry or from above, via the Onaruto Bridge).

Access

From JR Osaka Station, take the JR Tokaido Main Line for about 25 minutes to JR Sannommiya Station. From there, take the bus for about 50 minutes to Awaji Yumebutai.
