Lose Yourself at an Inn Truly at One with Its Surroundings

A night of transcendent seaside luxury awaits in Hokkaido

Venture off the beaten path to the fishing town of Esashi in southwestern Hokkaido and you’ll be rewarded with Kuki, an exceptional inn combining striking modern Japanese design with a commitment to ecologically sound hospitality.

The seven oversize rooms include the services of an on-call butler, ready to meet the guests’ every whim. Feast on sumptuous, creative kaiseki multi-course cuisine, including fresh-caught seafood from the port and meat and vegetables from the inn’s privately-operated farm, which is also open to guests.
Heal body and mind with a soak in the natural hot springs, then tour Esashi town for historic architecture and the oldest shrine in Hokkaido. Kuki is ideal for a heartwarming and magically memorable stay.

Access: By car, the hotel is about four hours 10 minutes from Sapporo Station.

Contribution to Sustainability

Water heated entirely by privately sourced natural springs is used to heat the hotels floors      and melt snow from the parking lot. Ingredients used in the hotel restaurant, including organic vegetables and livestock raised on independent farms, are from providers within a 25 km radius. Kitchen waste is turned into compost for use on the farm.
