Come to Daisen Makiba Milk no Sato (loosely translated as "Home of Milk"), to enjoy the beauty of the local countryside while learning more about the dairy products that make this area famous. Join one of the workshops to make home-made ice cream or butter, and then fill up on locally raised produce such as beef from Tottori Prefecture at the barbecue cabin.
For dessert, be sure to try the center’s second speciality, Milk no Sato’s soft-serve ice cream. Before you leave, stock up on goods that celebrate dairy culture in the souvenir shop. The facility is free to enter and is open all year round, except for the second and fourth Tuesday of every month.
