Daisen National Park Centre

A convenient gateway to a beautiful mountain

Daisen National Park Centre is the gateway to the Daisen area and is conveniently located next to a bus stop. The center is near several trails that lead around and up Mount Daisen. It serves as a rest house for hikers, skiers, and snowboarders. Visit before your hike or outdoor adventure to learn more about the area. Staff are available to help you learn more about the area’s attractions and provide mountain climbing safety tips.

The center provides many amenities for visitors. The rest area on the first floor is equipped with electrical outlets and USB hubs to charge your devices before heading out. The rest areas on the second floor have vending machines and a room to take your shoes off and relax, with hot water available for making tea. Other amenities include a lounge, terrace, paid shower room, changing room, nursing room, ski and snowboard storage, and coin lockers.

The center was designed to be environmentally friendly and is equipped with solar panels, a rainwater collection system for the restrooms, and special insulation to reduce heating and air conditioning use. The facility was built with local red pine and volcanic rock from Mount Daisen.
