After a 1-hour hike up to a volcanic caldera on a trail accessible even to beginners, you can drink coffee—brewed fresh by placing a pot directly on the heated ground—while relaxing in a natural steam sauna. The area is accessible by snowshoeing even when there is snowfall, and snow does not accumulate around the vents due to geothermal heat, ensuring you can enjoy this fun experience even in winter. There is also a hot spring at the trailhead where you can wash off the sweat of the hike after descending the mountain. (Bathing requires an additional fee.)
