Create a one-of-a-kind pearl accessory to take home

Ise-Shima is the birthplace of pearl cultivation. Visit an atelier surrounded by mountains, close to the sea, which is filled with rafts covered with pearl oysters. Try your hand extracting pearls, and make a unique accessory ranging from earrings and pendants to bracelets and tie pins, from the more than 400 different types of pearls. Beyond the workshop, you can enjoy, barbecuing, fishing, and sea kayaking in the calm waters of Ago Bay.
