Ise-Shima National Park

Daiosaki Lighthouse

Striking ocean views from Cape Diaosaki

Daiosaki Lighthouse is a beautiful chalk-colored building located in the southeast of Ise-Shima National Park. From the observation deck at the top of the lighthouse, you can see Subanohama Beach, Mugisaki Lighthouse and Anorisaki Lighthouse, along with the Enshunada Sea and Kumanonada Sea.

The small shops that line the narrow road to the lighthouse sell souvenirs, including locally cultured pearls and dried seafood. In June, head to the nearby Daiji-ji Temple and enjoy their hydrangea festival. In mid-September, the Waraji (Straw Sandal) Festival is held at neaby Nakiri-jinja Shrine.
