A family-friendly snow park with outdoor thrills and fun for every season

In the wintertime, skiers and snowboarders head to Kurohime Kogen Snow Park (900 m) to enjoy slopes that suit all skill levels, with everything from beginner to expert runs and cross-country skiing courses. There is a large family park area where you can slide down a hill on a tube or try snowmobiling, and a restaurant with great views of Lake Nojiri. Kurohime Kogen Snow Park is open from December to March (dates may vary depending on snow conditions).

During the green season, admire the vast fields of blooming wildflowers or try bouldering. The altitude also makes this a great spot to escape Japan’s summertime heat and humidity.
