A 12-day cycling trip through the Tohoku region

Gear up for a 900-kilometer guided cycling trip from Nasu in Nikko National Park to Aomori, at the far north of Honshu, Japan’s main island. The 12-day tour takes in some of the country’s most beautiful countryside. You’ll ride through three national parks, including Nikko, Bandai-Asahi, and Towada-Hachimantai.

This extraordinary, once-in-a-lifetime journey passes quaint towns and villages and breathtaking wilderness. Feast on regional cuisine from the length of Tohoku and bathe in soothing hot springs to ease your muscles after long days in the saddle.

Participants must be 18 years of age or older and in good health. They should have experience traveling over 100 kilometers across hilly terrain on a sports bicycle or have the ability to do so, as well as some experience riding in a group.
