Experience the wide plains and endless skies of Sarobetsu by bicycle
Enjoy an easy day's cycling on an electric-assist bike through the meadows and wetlands of Sarobetsu, on the Wakasakanai Coast. Starting from the town of Toyotomi, the wetlands are the first stop (approx. 7 km). They are home to a large variety of flowers, and migratory birds. Take in the green landscape and fresh air as you head towards the Sea of Japan. The Wakasakanai Coast (approx. 13 km) is the day's goal. The area is known for its rugged, natural beauty, with rocky cliffs, sandy beaches, and clear waters.
