Take in the beauty of the Seto Inland Sea on a pedal-powered adventure
The Shimanami Kaido is a 70-kilometer cycling route along a series of bridges that connect the islands in the Seto Inland Sea to Onomichi in Hiroshima Prefecture, and Imabari in Ehime Prefecture. Rent or return a bicycle at any of 10 rental bicycle terminals along the route, or connect midway with a ferry. Cyclists of all abilities can enjoy traffic-free routes that traverse the beautiful scenery of the island chain through Setonaikai National Park.
