Take a nighttime soak in a secluded open-air bath on Mount Iwate
Amihari Onsen is a collection of five hot springs located on the slopes of the active volcano Mount Iwate. This tour takes you to one of them—Sennyo-no-Yu, a secluded forest bath located along a mountain path. The bath is usually only open only during the daytime, but this tour gives you a rare opportunity to visit at night. Soak under the stars in the mineral-rich waters as you listen to the sound of nearby streams and waterfalls. After a refreshing dip, enjoy a complimentary glass of locally-grown apple and tomato juice.
