Explore the forests in the foothills of Mount Nyuto on snowshoes, taste warming cuisine, try your hand at local crafts, and soak in mineral-infused hot spring baths

Experience daily life in an idyllic hot spring area at the foot of Mount Nyuto, famous for midwinter snow accumulation over two meters high. After exploring Nyuto's forest on snowshoes, admire the snow-covered scenery from the baths of Tsuru-no-Yu that date back to the 17th century, or try your hand at making an itaya-uma wooden horse, one of the area's iconic local crafts.

Included in the tour is a filling set meal that features a special hot pot made with Japanese yams (yamanoimo). Advance reservations are required.
