The Kuroshio Current sweeps past Yakushima, bringing with it abundant marine life. You can sample the bounty of the sea on an Uo Haku Yakushima fishing excursion. This 3-day, 2-night course offers the opportunity to interact with locals, learn about food cycles present in Yakushima's ecosystems, and prepare and enjoy fish you catch.
