【Partners Information】 Hirosaki Park is located in Hirosaki City, Aomori Prefecture and is famous for its cherry blossoms and Hirosaki Castle, which was built in the Edo period (1611). In autumn, the gorgeous foliage is one of the highlights of the city.
The Hirosaki Castle Chrysanthemum and Autumn Foliage Festival is held every year from late October to early November. (In 2021, it is scheduled to be held from November 1 to 7.) A thousand maple trees and 2,600 cherry trees change colour beautifully and the vivid leaves are a sight to behold. At night, the park is transformed into a magical world in the glow of strategically-placed lights.
