Rusutsu Resort (Hokkaido)

Rusutsu Rezort in Hokkaido is famous for skiing in winter, but in summer it offers a wide range of activities. Tokyo Dome City (Tokyo)

Tokyo Dome City is one of the most popular amusement parks in Japan. There are 20 attractions in total, including a roller coaster that traverses through the middle of a Ferris wheel, and the Wonder Drop, a 13 m high dive into the water. There are also attractions for younger children, such as merry-go-round and teacups, so families can spend a relaxing time together.

Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise (Kanagawa)

An island marine theme park, Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise in Kanagawa prefecture, features one of Japan’s largest aquariums and offers a great mix of entertainment, education & excitement. Edo Wonderland (Tochigi)

Fuji-Q highland (Yamanashi)

Fuji-Q Highland is an amusement park in Yamanashi prefecture. It is well renowned for its exhilarating, record-breaking roller coasters, as well as for its anime-themed rides and attractions. The park features around 40 distinct exciting rides and attractions, some of which have Guinness World Records. You can also see here the beautiful Mt.Fuji.

How to Get There: Buses run to Fuji-Q Highland from Shinjuku Expressway Bus Terminal in just under around two hours. Buses also depart from Tokyo Station and Yokohama Station.

Suzuka Circuit (Mie)

Motorsports fans passing through Mie prefecture won't want to pass up the chance to visit Suzuka Circuit, a legendary Japanese race track where the world's top racers and other events compete. How to Get There:Take a Kintetsu Limited Express train from Namba Station in Osaka for about one hour and 40 minutes, or from Nagoya Station for 40 minutes, to Shiroko Station. From there, take an about 15-minute taxi or a Mie Kotsu bus for 20 minutes to get to Suzuka Circuit.

Universal Studios Japan (Osaka)

Huis Ten Bosch (Nagasaki)

Huis Ten Bosch or ‘House in the forest’ is located in the northern part of Nagasaki Prefecture. You will enjoy throughout the year in this inspiring resort of flowers and light. The park also features a small Dutch styled windmill and a crown monument and a butterfly flying around it. The park also hosts the largest fireworks festival, which makes it a round-the-year tourist attraction.

How to Get There: Huis Ten Bosch is well-served by JR rail links to Hakata (Fukuoka City ) and Nagasaki City . Most trains are limited express, with most from Hakata needing a transfer at nearby Haiki Station. Factor in up to 110 minutes for your journey.
