General Checklist for Traveling to Japan What to need before and after entry into Japan
All information here is gathered from the relevant authorities. Due to the regularly changing situation, it is essential for you to always check and follow the latest guidance.

From June 1, 2022, quarantine process after entry into Japan differs according to the grouping(“●Blue”, “●Yellow” , and “●Red” categories) of the countries/regions in which the entrants stayed within 14 days before the day of application for landing on Japan

From June 10, 2022, guided package tours from countries or regions in the group "Blue" are accepted. Regardless of the vaccination status of the entrants, Covid-19 on-arrival test and isolation upon arrival are not required. Please refer to this page if your purpose of visiting Japan is “tourism”.
●Group “Blue”:Tourist entry on guided package tours is accepted from June 10, 2022. Regardless of the vaccination status of the entrants, Covid-19 on-arrival test and isolation upon arrival are not required.
●Group “Yellow”:Those who obtain a valid Covid-19 vaccination certificate are not required to take Covid-19 on-arrival test and isolation upon arrival. For those who do not obtain a valid Covid-19 vaccination certificate, Covid-19 on-arrival test and 7-day isolation at home/hotel (or 3-day isolation at home/hotel + a negative test result from a voluntary Covid-19 test on the 3rd day of the isolation) are required. ●Group “Red”:On-arrival test and 3-day isolation at a government-designated facility are required. However, those who obtain a valid vaccination certificate may have 7-day isolation at home/hotel (or 3-day isolation at home/hotel + a negative test result from a voluntary Covid-19 test on the 3rd day of the isolation) instead. Before Departure
1) The certificate for registration to ERFS (Entrants, Returnees Follow-up System) shall be given by the receiving organization in Japan.
2) Apply for a visa at embassies/consulates with the ERFS certificate received above.

(If you are from countries or regions in the group "Blue", you may select “Will not submit” for status of your vaccination on MySOS app. Regardless of vaccination status, any form of isolation after entry is not required.)
MySOS app screen will turn blue or green when all required information is submitted and the authorities' review is complete. Visit the MHLW Quarantine Fast Track website for the latest information.
If you don’t wish to use Quarantine Fast Track with MySOS app, you may skip this procedure.

If you registered the Covid-19 Negative Test Certificate on MySOS app, you don’t need to register it again on Visit Japan Web.

-Show the issued QR codes from the Questionnaire and/or Visit Japan Web
