A family and beginner-friendly ski resort where the snow is guaranteed
The Kujyu Shinrin Koen Ski Resort is a fun-filled place to experience winter in the Kuju area of Aso-Kuju National Park. This beginner-friendly resort has six main ski courses, slopes designated for lessons and trial runs, and a sledding area for children.
The skiing ground is open from December through March, and the park uses special snow-making technology to ensure powdery slopes throughout the season. During the rest of the year, visitors can enjoy the scenic highlands filled with vibrant flowers and fiery autumn leaves. The Kujyu Shinrin Koen Ski Resort also operates a Ferris wheel in the warmer months, so you can catch the park’s beauty from above.
