The city is dotted with about ten tourist orchards where visitors can experience cherry picking from mid-May to mid-July and autumn fruit picking (such as grapes and apples) from late August to late November. In addition, in Kaminoyama, visitors can enjoy unique seasonal experiences such as the folklore event known as the Kasedori and getting dressed up in kimono, making it a place that can be enjoyed throughout the year.
