Okinawa | Illuminations at the Southeast Botanical Gardens

Southeast Botanical Gardens Illuminations, Hikari no Michi 2020-2021

The Southeast Botanical Gardens is one of the largest outdoor botanical gardens in Japan. The Hikari no Michi is one of the largest illuminations in Okinawa prefecture and has been certified as the first Illuminated Night View Heritage in Okinawa. This year's Hikari no Michi  Illuminations Show will start from October 30th (Event dates vary year to year). The park will light up with a bright glow reminiscent of the tropics, and the illumination will brighten up the visitors' hearts.

To go to Southeast Botanical Gardens: From Naha, take bus No.90 at the bus terminal, get off at the Farmer training center station (about 85mins), then walk for 15 minutes or take a taxi (the minimum fare can reach the main gate of Southeast Botanical Gardens). If you're renting a car, you can follow the navigation and drive for about 40 minutes.
