Lake Motosu in Yamanashi is famous for its clear water which reflects stunning views of Mt. Fuji and is considered one of Japan’s top windsurfing spots. One of the five lakes around Mt. Fuji, Lake Motosu has gentle southerly winds in the morning, which are ideal for basic practice and for beginners. In the afternoon, the winds pick up, creating perfect conditions for advanced riders.
