Venture into the great outdoors of Fukui and enjoy ziplines and treetop fun all year long

Fukui Prefecture

Located in Fukui Prefecture, Tree Picnic Adventure Ikeda is a leading outdoor recreation facility and a pioneer of sustainable tourism in the region.

Here you can choose to admire breathtaking landscapes typical of the quaint Japanese countryside as you go down the 1-km-long Mega Zipline, or have an exciting time surrounded by nature at the treetop Adventure Park. Courses specifically designed for children are available so the whole family can have a blast! Nestled between lush forests and the shallow Asuwa River, the park also provides a great opportunity for forest bathing, and fun rafting adventures.

The site offers various types of accommodation, from rustic cottages and log cabins to tents floating mid-air in the middle of the forest, and BBQ packages that include some of the finest wagyu Japanese beef produced in Fukui.

Tree Picnic Adventure Ikeda is much more than just a place to frolic around in the great outdoors: you will no doubt leave with a renewed sense of wonder at nature and its countless splendors.
