Hill-climbing along a beautiful mountain road

Located in the scenic, mountainous town of Kumakogen—sometimes referred to as Shikoku's Karuizawa—the Ishizuchi Skyline is an 18 kilometer mountain road stretching from Kanmon, where the Omogo-kei Gorge starts, to Tsuchigoya. With a series of steep and gentle slopes, the road is a great hill-climbing location for advanced cyclists with higher skills and physical stamina. Even though a ride here is not easy, the proud feeling of achievement you will experience after reaching the goal is sure to be indescribable. People from all over Japan visit for this amazing hill-climbing along with superb views of the Ishizuchi Mountain Range.
