Partners Information: Ehime Prefecture on the island of Shikoku will be hosting a free online sake tour and tasting event in collaboration with two leading sake breweries this February.
The event will be conducted in English and include an online tour of the sake brewing process at two traditional Japanese sake breweries in the prefecture with nearly 200 years of history. There will also be question time for the brewers, a sake-related quiz and some entertainment. Plus, the chance to win a wonderful assortment of Ehime merchandise in a raffle draw.
To enable participants to enjoy sake at the same time, a sake tasting set (300ml x 3 types) will be available from the sake breweries that will be present on the day. The sake tasting sets can be purchased in advance at a 25% discount thanks to the support of the Japanese e-commerce site, JFC Australia. Everyone is welcome to attend the event with or without sake.
