The 26th Japanese Film Festival (JFF) is coming to Australia! In 2022, the festival will be held in five cities across the country, starting with Canberra on 5th November and ending in Sydney on 14 December.
This year’s program explores a spectrum of emotions, with stories that challenge old truths and portray the diversity of the human experience.
At JFF 2022, you might discover the secrets that lie behind the first map of Japan, or meet characters such as four elite chefs working tirelessly in Tokyo to perfect their craft, or a quirky pair of teenage assassins learning to adjust to ‘normal life’.
Featuring the latest box office hits alongside rare 35mm screenings of master filmmaker Mikio Naruse’s works, there’s bound to be something for everyone.
