The Japanese Film Festival is back for its 28th year, and movie-lovers are in for a treat! The festival will be touring five major locations, starting in Canberra on 24 September and finishing in Sydney on 10 November. There will be 20 different movies to choose from over the festival period, and there will be 86 screenings of recent releases and 40 screenings of classic films.
From chilling thrillers to exciting action, to heart-string-tugging drama to new anime releases, there is something for everyone to enjoy! Join beloved DRAGON BALL author Akira Toriyama for the animation of his manga SAND LAND, or see how Shadow of Fire (Hokage) took home the Best Asian Feature Film at the 80th Venice Film Festival, awarded by the Network for the Promotion of Asian Cinema (NETPAC). Don’t miss this rare opportunity to see these movies straight from Japan!
