Typhoon Jebi (No. 21) passed through Japan from September 4th to 5th. Kansai International Airport has been closed due to the typhoon damage, but domestic flights are scheduled to resume on 7th Friday, and international flights are expected to resume as soon as the airport is ready.

On September 6th, 2018 at approximately 3:00 am JST (6:00 pm GMT), a strong earthquake (Magnitude 6.7) occurred in Japan’s northern island of Hokkaido.
