Partners Information: Evangelion XR Ride, a ride attraction based on the popular anime series Neon Genesis EVANGELION, will return to Universal Studios Japan for a limited period only, from Friday 6 July 2018 to Sunday 6 January 2019.
The ride was first launched in 2017 for a limited period. It was the first Eva-based ride attraction and received a high satisfaction rate of 99%, and was highly rated by many guests. The ride enables guests to experience terror and a feeling of excitement with all senses.
In the realistically reproduced world of Evangelion, guests ride in a vehicle which moves unpredictably, escaping from an attacking Angel.
By popular demand, the ride is back this summer for a limited time only!
The ride synchronises the frantic speed and sense of gravity in the world of Evangelion that spreads 360 degrees around guests.
Guests take part in an exciting battle between EVA and Angel right in front of them, then desperately try and escape. They can be totally immersed in the world of Evangelion with a sense of realism that can only be experienced there.
The ride is produced by Universal Studio Japan’s unique know-how and creativity.
