Partners Information: Travel Japan has introduced a new range of 'Discover Japan within Australia' experiences to help Australians stay connected to Japan. Experiences are available in locations throughout Australia and cater to a range of interests.
Participants can:
- Take part in online virtual tours
- Learn and practice the art of traditional dance
- Enjoy the beauty and refinement of the Japanese tea ceremony
- Learn how to wear a Japanese kimono or yukata while enjoying time to pose and take photos in this traditional Japanese wear
- Try their hand and delight their tastebuds cooking healthy, tasty, authentic Japanese food with a certified natural food coordinator
- Learn basic techniques of Kintsugi from a master craftsman and participate in the art of repairing a broken plate technique
There is also a fortnightly cultural exchange in Brisbane where participants have the opportunity to talk with local Japanese residents over afternoon tea.
