Partners Information: Seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms, houkimomo (a native variety of peach blossoms) and irises bloom in Miyajidake Shrine, located in Fukutsu City, Fukuoka. A cherry blossom tree next to the main shrine is considered a good-luck charm as it is always the first tree in the shrine to bloom each spring, sometimes as early as January - so its blossoms may even be covered in snow!

Partners Information: Kurogi no Ofuji is the name of a giant wisteria tree - over 600 years old - located on the grounds of Susano Shrine in Yame City, Fukuoka Prefecture. Mid April to early May is considered to be the best time to view the tree's impressive flower clusters in full bloom. The festival on at this time attracts around two-hundred thousand visitors each year from all over Japan.
