Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time, an animated science fiction film written and co-directed by Hideaki Anno was released in Japan on 8 March 2021. It is the fourth installment of the Rebuild of Evangelion film series, which is based on the original anime series Neon Genesis Evangelion in the mid 1990s.
