Partners Information: Kawachi Wisteria Garden in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, is where you will find one of the most amazing wisteria tunnels in the world. The garden has two wisteria tunnels (110 and 80 metres in length) featuring over 20 different varieties of wisteria that visitors can enjoy.
The best time to visit is from late April to beginning of May. This time is also a great time to enjoy the new green leaves on the Japanese maple trees. The garden is also known for its beautiful autumn leaves - the leaves of 700 maple trees and Japanese maple trees turn into magnificent shades of yellow, orange and red in November.
