Ryuokyo Canyon in Nikko National Park

Partners Information: Ryuokyo Canyon in Nikko National Park, Tochigi Prefecture, is a scenic spot stretching approximately 3 kilometres between Kinugawa Onsen
and Kawaji Onsen.

It was named Ryuokyo, canyon of the dragon king, because the scenery of the canyon resembles the figure of a large dragon.

It’s a popular spot from late October to early November for the stunning autumn leaves, but early summer is also a beautiful time to visit to enjoy the verdant surrounds.
