Tom Daley Does Japan: TOKYO

Tom returns to Tokyo, Japan's futuristic and funky capital for the final installment of his Tohoku adventure. After a bout of retail therapy in Shibuya, Tom scrambled to get his hands on anything and everything colourful in Harajuku, the pop-culture capital of the world; a whacky outfit for a trip to the equally whacky Kawaii Monster Cafe? Tom then paid a visit to leafy Meiji-jingu Shrine, before enjoying a late-night drink in one of Shinjuku's many cosy izakaya. Read on to find out more!

Tom Daley Does Japan: AOMORI

Tom is in Aomori for his fifth and final day in the Tohoku region before he does a full 180 and heads back to Tokyo. Well-regarded as one of Japan's most spectacular festivals, it was only right that Tom got involved in the festivities of the Aomori Nebuta Matsuri before snacking on some delicious sushi at the Furukawa Fish Market and slurping bowl after bowl of wanko soba in a timed challenge! Read on to find out what else Tom got up to in Aomori!

Tom Daley Does Japan: DEWA SANZAN

Next up on Tom's Tohoku tour is the holy Dewa Sanzan! Tom proves he's got what it takes to be a 'yamabushi' - followers of the ascetic mountain religion known as Shugendo - as he kits up in the traditional gear and makes the pilgrimage to the famous Gojunoto pagoda at Haguro-san before stripping down for meditation beneath an icy cold waterfall and leaping over a blazing fire! Read on to find out more about Tom's day of spiritual enlightenment!
