Partners Information: Kawachi Wisteria Garden in Kitakyushu, Fukuoka Prefecture, is where you will find one of the most amazing wisteria tunnels in the world. The garden has two wisteria tunnels (110- and 80-metres in length) featuring over 20 different varieties of wisteria that visitors can enjoy.

Partners Information: Seasonal flowers such as cherry blossoms, houkimomo (a native variety of peach blossoms) and irises bloom in Miyajidake Shrine, located in Fukutsu City, Fukuoka. A cherry blossom tree next to the main shrine is considered a good-luck charm as it is always the first tree in the shrine to bloom each spring, sometimes as early as January - so its blossoms may even be covered in snow!

Mid April to early May is considered to be the best time to view the tree's impressive flower clusters in full bloom. The festival on at this time attracts around two-hundred thousand visitors each year from all over Japan.
