Overview:

Kyoto is Japan's cultural and spiritual heartland, and visitors in 2020 have the rare opportunity to view some highly important cultural artifacts. The Kannon Worship exhibition showcases national treasures and important cultural properties dating back 1300 years. Among these relics are several Buddhist statues rarely open for public viewing. All seven statues depicting the bodhisattva Kannon in various manifestations are on display.
